When to contact the Grievance Officer
In accordance with the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may contact our Grievance Officer for:
- Complaints about content you consider unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or that violates your rights
- Requests to remove content that infringes your copyright or trademark
- Privacy grievances under the DPDP Act (data access, correction, erasure requests)
- Impersonation reports where someone is using your identity on Triply
- Escalation of unresolved support tickets (after waiting 7 days for a resolution)

How to file a grievance
To file a formal grievance, email the Grievance Officer at the address above with the following details:
- Your full name and registered Triply phone/email
- Nature of the grievance (choose: content, data, impersonation, support escalation, other)
- Detailed description of the issue
- Date and time of the incident (if applicable)
- Supporting screenshots, links, or documents
- The resolution you're seeking
Acknowledgement and resolution timeline
In line with the IT Rules, 2021:
- Acknowledgement: Within 24 hours of receipt
- Resolution: Within 15 days of receipt, as mandated
- For content removal of intimate imagery (Rule 3(2)(b)): Within 24 hours
- For DPDP Act data requests: Within the timelines prescribed by the Act
If you're not satisfied with the resolution
If the Grievance Officer's resolution does not address your concern:
- For IT Rules matters: You may approach the Grievance Appellate Committee established under Rule 3A of the IT Rules, 2021.
- For data protection matters: You may file a complaint with the Data Protection Board of India established under the DPDP Act, 2023.
- For consumer disputes: You may approach the appropriate Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
For law enforcement authorities
Authorities making lawful data or content requests under the IT Act, 2000, CrPC, or other applicable laws may email legal@triply.in with the appropriate notice. Requests without valid legal basis will be rejected in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
